Insurance Submission Would you like your treatment submitted to insurance? Please email a photo of the front and back of your insurance card to tara@genwellacupuncture.com, or complete our insurance verification form online here. Heads up, we do not submit to Medicare, Medicaid, and/or No-Fault insurance programs.

Please note: Without insurance verification, your treatment will be subject to self-pay fees at the time of service.

Appointment Scheduling New Patients: You must schedule a New Patient Appointment before booking any Follow-Up or Front & Back Treatment sessions. You can view and manage all your scheduled appointments by logging into your GenWell account in Jane.

Support Access to Acupuncture: Community Contribution We believe that everyone deserves access to high-quality acupuncture, regardless of financial circumstance. That’s why our clinic reserves a limited number of sliding scale appointments each week for patients experiencing true financial hardship—so healing care remains available to all who need it.

How You Can Help If you are able and would like to support this mission, you can simply let your practitioner know you’d like to participate in our “Community Contribution” program, $10 will be included in your payment as an add on at checkout. 100% of these contributions go directly toward covering the cost of sliding scale appointments for community members who are struggling to afford care.

Your generosity helps us maintain a sustainable practice while ensuring that those facing tough times can still receive expert acupuncture when they need it most.

Thank you for helping us make acupuncture accessible for everyone!

We’re a Digital-First Practice
We keep things simple and organized by running everything online. Your Jane patient portal is your go-to spot for scheduling, rescheduling, or canceling appointments, plus checking out your billing and treatment details. Appointment updates come straight to your email, and you can log into your GenWell account anytime.

What to Expect at Your Visit
You’ll always get private, personalized care with us:

New Patient Appointment (~90 minutes): $175
We’ll chat about your health history, walk you through the basics of acupuncture, and get you started with your first treatment.

Follow-Up Appointment (~60 minutes): $125
We’ll do a quick check-in on how you’re feeling and follow up with your tailored acupuncture session.

Tip: Wear loose, comfy clothes and bring some water!

Insurance & Payment Details
We’re in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield. If you have United Healthcare, NYSHIP, Aetna, Cigna, or another plan with out-of-network benefits, we’re happy to submit claims for you as long as your plan includes out-of-network benefits. We can also provide you with a superbill which contains all the proper coding which you can submit for reimbursement. We do not submit to Medicare, Medicaid, and/or no-fault insurance.

To get started, just snap a photo of the front and back of your insurance card and email it to tara@genwellacupuncture.com along with your full name, date of birth, and what you’d like to work on. We’ll check your benefits and let you know what’s covered.

Administrative Fees:
Self-pay: $5 per treatment (covers all that behind-the-scenes admin magic)

Insurance submission: $10 per claim (to help with paperwork and follow-up)
